Isabelle Perreault

Today’s success does not guarantee tomorrow’s growth. We must move beyond linear thinking to enable repeatable, sustained innovation.

Rational is Overrated. With these three words, Isabelle Perreault challenges business leaders to embrace disruptive thinking.

This interactive presentation explores how innovative organizations not only improve current practices but also embrace unconventional growth paths through systematic experimentation.

Keynote topic: Rational is Overrated

This immersive “Crashup” session — a combination of a crash course and the interdisciplinary nature of a mashup — embodies the innovation principles it teaches.

It provides actionable strategies to enhance your organization’s innovation capabilities with a focus on:

Generating and fostering new ideas consistently under the right conditions.
The convergence of diverse groups, skills, and mindsets.
Problem-solving within set timeframes and supportive environments.

Three Key Learnings

We are often brought in when associations are dealing with:

Innovation in Strategy
Understand the role of innovation within your corporate strategy. Learn how to identify significant problems and opportunities.
Creativity and Execution
Discover why traditional brainstorms fail and how to transform ideas into value through experimentation and validation.
Overcoming Barriers
Identify your company’s barriers to innovation and how to foster behaviours that enable a culture of innovation.

Who will this benefit the most?

Leaders who want to make sense of the rapid pace of change, build a more agile and forward-focused brand of leadership, and who are willing to engage in disruptive thinking.
What sets this presentation apart is its emphasis on practical, actionable advice, rather than abstract theories while keeping the pace fast and engaging.

Disrupting a traditional sport model to elevate

Women’s sports have experienced an unprecedented pace of growth since 2018.  Rather than vying for space within the fiercely competitive and saturated Red Ocean of male-dominated sports, which primarily leverages broadcasting for fan engagement and revenue generation, there lies a monumental opportunity to cultivate a Blue Ocean market —a new, uncharted territory ripe with potential for women's sports.

Canadian Credit Union Association

At the Canadian Credit Union Association national conference, Isabelle spoke to a small, invite-only group about what it takes to build organizations that are prepared for an uncertain future. She explored both the culture and structure of innovation, highlighting the cultural conditions common to innovative organizations and the need for structures that support both optimizing today’s business and exploring tomorrow’s opportunities. Her message aligned closely with the conference theme, Driven by Purpose: success is not about choosing between efficiency and innovation, but about determining how much energy to invest in growing existing markets while leaving enough capacity to create new ones.
