Isabelle Perreault

Founder and CEO

Isabelle is the Founder and CEO of Differly. She has spent her career helping business leaders understand technological disruption and what they can do to survive and thrive in this new era of exponential change. She has deep knowledge in digital transformation, marketing strategy, customer experience and engagement. She is also a Certified ScrumMaster®, passionate about emerging operational models and applying agile  principles to strategic planning and marketing.

For over 20 years, she has been helping leaders in a wide variety of sectors from sports and entertainment, retail, associations to health care, make strategic investment choices in digital technology that will deliver the most value to the business and their customers.

Prior to launching Differly, she led one of the first Digital Transformation Practices in Canada as Vice president with Stratford Managers and was head of Digital Strategy and Director of Marketing for the Ottawa Senators, NHL Hockey Club.

Activities & affiliations
Isabelle is Vice-Chair of the Ottawa Youth Services Bureau Foundation as well as a Board member of Boxing Canada and a past President of the International Association of Business Communicators, Ottawa Chapter.  She is an active member of Women in Communications and Technology, the Scrum Alliance and sits on the advisory committees of Informed Opinions. Jay Payette

Jay is an experienced IT Program Manager and strategic advisor. For nearly 20 years, Jay has lead a number of transformational projects for clients in the public and private sectors including members of the Fortune 500. Jay combines a thorough technology background with a strong business acumen to help clients get the most value out of their technology investments.

He provides virtual CIO services for a variety of Differly Clients.

Vicky Freed

Chief Strategist, Loyalty, Data and Customer Performance

Vicky is a seasoned business performance strategist and leader who drives improved marketing and business results through the smart, effective use of data. Having the unique ability to speak data and business equally, Vicky helps organizations better understand and leverage their customer and organizational data, utilizing it to transform their performance, develop loyalty and growth strategies.

She has extensive cross-functional leadership experience and a blend of strategic, operational and analytic expertise. With a career spanning 20 years, Vicky has developed a consistent track record for using data and analytics to transform organizational results across multiple markets, organizations, and sectors.

Marc Fares

Transformation and innovation, virtual CDO and CMO services

Marc is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in digital strategy and solutions, innovation, technology, e-commerce, marketing and loyalty, corporate strategy and business development.  Throughout his career, Marc has helped organizations profitably grow by driving effective strategic planning, organizational alignment, and the delivery of robust marketing, technology and digital solutions.  Core to his success is Marc’s emphasis on motivating teams to become champions of innovation with a constant focus on customer centricity and user experience.

Marc has led digital transformation efforts at major organizations such as Aeroplan and Bell Canada. With significant experience managing large-scale multidisciplinary projects and operations, Marc was responsible for annual budgets of over $35M and for leading hundreds of employees across departments, resulting in positive impacts to millions of customers and annual revenue, productivity, and cost reduction benefits valued at hundreds of millions of dollars.

Marc completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Montreal.  He has an MBA from McGill University, as well as two Graduate Certificates in Management, one in International Business and another in Tourism Management.  He also has a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from Concordia University.  Marc is fluent in English and French.

Scott Morin

Operational planning and executive sales coaching

With over 25 years of experience, Scott provides sales and operations expertise to companies of all sizes and excels in leadership, operations, sales, marketing and business development. Scott’s passion is in optimizing senior leadership team interactions, with each other, their people and their boards. He is an EOS® coach (Entrepreneurial Operating System) and helps organizations implement this approach. Before joining Differly, Scott held the position of Chief Executive Officer at 4Point.  He successfully managed a portfolio of $20M ARR spread across multiple service lines and conducted a company-wide re-structuring that enabled a pivot towards sustained profitability.

Before that, he was VP, Sales and Business Development for CloudLink, where he managed the sales team through 4-fold year-over-year growth. As VP, Sales at TITUS, Scott led the charge on exponential sales growth over a 5-year period, where he grew the team from 12 employees to 90 and developed the company’s international footprint. TITUS was recognized as a Deloitte FAST 50 award winner for 5-year sales growth in 2013.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in marketing from Carleton University.

Steve Coppola

Senior customer experience and UX strategist

Steve is a digital customer experience strategist with over 20 years of experience who defines and designs thoughtful, user-centric solutions that translate to increased loyalty and profitability.  He strives to develop a deep understanding of customer motivations, to challenge assumptions and reimagine opportunities both for them and the business.

With his deep experience in digital strategy and channels, Steve has developed proven methodologies that help organizations create cohesive, intuitive customer experiences, optimized across all platforms.  This is increasingly critical as organizations fight to stay relevant in an increasingly automated, personalized and digital world.

Steve has worked with brands such as FedEx, Sun Life Financial, Sobey’s, Magna International and Maple Leaf Foods.

Lisa Strangway

Digital and marketing strategy, senior advisor

Lisa is an experienced marketing professional, with deep experience in social media management and content marketing. She is a skilled project manager with over 20 years of experience in execution of strategic marketing plans from start to finish.   Prior to bringing her deep expertise to the Differly team and launching her own marketing business, she spent 14 years working at the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club creating memorable marketing campaigns and leading promotions and events. She has been on the organizing committee of several International events, in particular the IIHF 2009 World Junior Championship and the IIHF 2013 Women’s World Championship.  Lisa is passionate about community engagement, in particular of her home town in Carleton Place, Ontario, where she sits on various committees giving back by volunteering her time and skills.

Scott Nowlan

Chief Operating Officer
Transformation and Innovation Strategist

Bringing almost 30 years of global, multi-industry experience, Scott brings deep operational and strategic leadership experience and management consulting background to his clients. Focusing on digital and organizational transformation, Scott’s work across a variety of industries (wholesale distribution, retail, logistics, public sector, postal to name a few) has helped formulate, lead and facilitate change agendas that has always focused on people – employees and clients – with an eye to improving organizational effectiveness and when applicable, the bottom line. He brings experience in a variety of areas including eCommerce, CRM and the “business side” of technology (defining business needs, requirements, procurement, business implementation, change management etc.).

With two start-ups under his belt in Canada and Australia and 8 years as VP Operations/COO, Scott has had direct responsibility and oversight for several organizational functions including Sales/Marketing, Finance, HR, Legal with strategic and P&L responsibility.

Scott is also a certified Agile Scrum Master and is currently the Chair, Board of Directors for Toronto-based People for Education, an independent, non-partisan, charitable organization working to support and advance public education through research, policy and public engagement.

Steve Johnston

For over 25 years, Steve has shared his knowledge clearly by combining business and technology. Thanks to his vast experience in both fields, he can simplify complex issues for the benefit of the companies he works with. His entrepreneurship experience makes him a great asset to any enterprise desiring to optimize their processes and create value to their customers.

His obsession is to generate value in organizations through their technological development aligned with business objectives. He is a guide for companies in implementing practical tools to achieve early results in a timely manner while respecting the long-term perspective. His collaborative approach allows him to adapt to any businesses and people and help them with strategy road map, digital solutions, IT governance, Data Management and IT infrastructure.

Steve completed his electrical engineering at Université Laval, Québec City.  He has an MBA from University of Ottawa, as well as a Master in Project Management. He also completed a certification in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology(IT) - (COBIT 2019 Foundation). Steve is fluent in English and French.

Jen Batley

Recognized as a catalyst for change, Jennifer is consistently the go-to person for elaborate initiatives requiring innovative and cross-functional thinking and collaborative approaches. Thriving in environments challenged to transform, she excels at building alignment, prioritizing opportunities, and dealing with unknowns always working to balance relationships with results.

Jennifer has worked across industries and with leading companies including Sysco Foods, Dell/EMC, TetraPak, and Welch Allyn. She empathizes with the challenges clients face, having held President and C-level roles and had direct ownership of teams leading strategy, operations, revenue, marketing, ecommerce, customer success and business intelligence.

Andrew Evraire

Marketing Strategist

Andrew is a marketing strategist with a background and passion for data, statistics and analytics.  He strives to create lasting relationships with clients and provides them with the necessary tools to be successful. Andrew is passionate about content marketing, Go-to-Market and consumer behavior. Andrew is completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing with a Statistics minor at Carleton University.

Ilana Gregory

Ilana brings over 20 years of experience in the technology sector at companies like Adobe, leading global teams and managing change. Spearheading various transformation initiatives, Ilana excels in fostering an environment of customer-centric innovation, growth mindsets and results.  Her passion and talent for breaking down barriers and bringing different viewpoints to the table enables organizations to be successful, evolve and exceed the desired business results. She has extensive cross-functional leadership experience from diverse functions,  industries, sectors and sizes across the globe. Ilana holds certifications in Change Management (PROSCI) and Design Thinking and a Masters in Business Administration from Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
